Seen on the wall of the Douglas Arms Hotel in Castle Douglas. The date at the bottom is 1827 and the significance of the mileage to Huntingdon is the hotel was at one time a coaching inn in the 1700's and drovers passed by here with their stock on route to London. http://www.douglasarmshotel.com/
