Taking Scallow Lane over the Bull River, a tributary of the Cuckmere. The northern junction of Graywood lane is on the immediate right whilst beyond the bridge is southern end of Moat Lane which heads north to Cross in Hand. the river marks the parish boundary between East Hoathly and Waldron.
