This is the boundary of the built up area of Huyton and where the vast 20th century housing estates give way to green fields. On the left can be seen the houses of Lyme Grove on Knowsley Lane, in the centre Knowsley Lane Farm and to the right, beyond the M57 motorway, the woods surrounding Knowsley Hall.
