St Mary's, the parish Church of Lymm, seen from the path by Lymm Dam. There are records showing the existence of a Church on the site at the time of the Domesday Book. The present building was built in buff sandstone in 1852. The tower was replaced in 1888-91. The church has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building.
