When I was at LSE http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_School_of_Economics in the late seventies I recall this chap http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Jay coming to talk to us about his years as Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the United States http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Ambassadors_from_the_United_Kingdom_to_the_United_States and joking that his biggest decision whilst in the job was whether or not to admit The Sex Pistols http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_Pistols to tour California. These days it seems, from this shot taken at the top of Woodcroft Lane, he has rather more modest decisions to make!
