The stadium has a six lane synthetic athletics and a banked cycle track. This is home to the Wolverhampton and Bilston Athletics Club. The stadium had one of the first tartan tracks and the club had a number of champions in the 60s and 70s. Modern stadiums now need at least eight lanes.
