The 'first day of spring' or the vernal equinox is a day that I await all through our often long winters. The first shimmer of green in the hawthorn hedges starts to catch my eye and I try to walk every day, if I can, to see the season come upon us. This landscape caught my eye and I couldn't pass without recording it. Look at that hill. It just says come up here you fool, walk me.
