One of the new signs erected following Greenwich being declared a Royal Borough on 3 February 2012. This one welcomes the visitor to "West Greenwich" i.e. the small area west of Deptford Creek, which is anomalously in Greenwich borough (most of the area west of the Creek is in Lewisham). The pointed apartment block in the distance is the new ly completed Greenwich Creekside, phase 2 - see Image
