Grand, but looking rather top-heavy. Giant Corinthian pilasters articulate at least two of the facades, concluding at a very emphatic cornice and pediment. Pevsner notes that the "temple effect is undermined by ... domestic-looking windows". Built 1838-40 for the North and South Wales Bank by Edward Corbett. Grade II listed. Recruitment agency, Reed, were tenants at the time of the photo.
