With an unfeasibly extraordinary tower. It manages to put three very florid gables in the shade. By Walter W. Thomas for brewer Robert Cain, 1907 (as was this: Image]). After a few pints it must be hard to believe one isn't hallucinating this pub. Grade II* listed.
