The Geograph project started in 2005 with the aim of publishing, organising and preserving representative images for every square kilometre of Great Britain, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

Hickling is that comparatively rare thing nowadays - a working village. There are two dairy farms on the main street and this gap between the houses provides access for dairy cattle to nearby fields.
