This pre-Worboys sign lies on the T-junction with Queen Street. Until a few years ago traffic from Dowson Road could cross Market Street into Queen Street Image which led down past the James North factory. As Queen Street was one-way from Market St to Lumn Road, lorries leaving the factory had to turn left down to this T-junction. Now Queen Street Image only runs as far as Douglas Street. There is no vehicular access across into the school and the new houses built on the old factory site. At this end, Queen Street is reduced to being an access passage to the rear of houses on Lumn Road.
