Middle pond on the woodlands walk in Croxteth Country Park which was gifted to Merseyside in 1974 by the late Lady Sefton. The park borders the vast Croxteth Park Estate, the houses can just be seen through the trees. The estate was built on the farmland sold off by Liverpool City Council, when completed in the 90's it was the largest housing estate in Europe.
