West Heath was the school at which Diana Spencer, later to become the Princess of Wales, spent "the happiest days of my life". Thanks to Mohamed Al-Fayed's unmatched generosity, The New School at West Heath opened as a living memorial to the Princess and his son Dodi Fayed. The school is a day and boarding school for 112 eleven to eighteen year olds whose mainstream schooling has broken down but who have average or above academic potential.
