The building on the right is 165 Castlebank Street, and is dated 1885 on its front (the far side, which is shown in Image). It was the offices of D & W Henderson and Co, Engineers and Iron Shipbuilders, at Meadowside Shipbuilding Yard. It was later used by Scotway, a haulage firm, and was called Scotway House. For later damage suffered by the building, see Image / Image / Image At the time the present photograph was taken, the building was standing alone on waste ground near the new Image For the modern buildings in the background, see Image For better views of the former offices, see Image, Image, Image, and Image
