There are still a few former hop warehouses remaining in Worcester. This impressive building, sandwiched between terraced houses, was owned by J. W. Buckland & Company, whose name is at the top of the building. The building probably dates from the period 1892-95, as there are records of planning applications by the company for a warehouse or warehouses in Southfield Street in that period. The building has been converted into residential flats.
