The former Southfield Stores, 26 Southfield Street, Worcester

Southfield Stores was a typical corner shop including an off-licence. On the exterior walls, at first floor level, there are still advertisements for ales and stout, and for wines & spirits. The former has a diagonal band on which West Country Ales has been superimposed on the previous wording of Cheltenham & Hereford. The latter became part of West Country Ales. At ground floor level, a West Country Ales ceramic plaque also survives. See link to photo below. The building is now used as a private residence. Image
