Looking towards the Great Western London to Reading main line. There are three bridges in this view. The nearest carries the headshunt tracks of the North Pole Eurostar Depot, now out of use following the extending of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link into St. Pancras and the opening of the new depot at Temple Mills in Stratford. The second bridge carries the Great Western London - Reading main line and the third carries the Greenford loop line. The fence on the right was built to protect the Channel Tunnel depot and carries serious warnings under the Channel Tunnel (Security) Order 1994. The depot was in use between 1994 and 2007.
