This Grade II listed ashlar structure was built in 1864 to commemorate Mary Rogers, who was the wife of one of the directors of the orphanage form which the school developed. The basin with plinth on three steps has scrolls to the angles and relief panels depicting works of charity: Feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and so on.
