A ornate moulding above the shop front proclaims it to be 'Bournville Market'. Other corner properties have similar plaques. Most of the shops on Bournville Lane are no longer used as such, having been converted into dwellings. This one is an office of a company selling fire extinguishers - I suspect few people will just pop down to the corner shop for some fire protection.
