On the approach to Port Talbot railway station, the four parallel tracks of the South Wales main line diverge - two pass platform 1 and two pass platform 2. The two tracks not adjacent to the platforms are used by freight trains, and passenger trains not stopping here. Just beyond the end of the platform is Oakwood Road level crossing. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2829964
