Looking across the transport corridor at Station Road bridge. This is the site of Mochdre & Pabo railway station, which was closed temporarily between 1917-9 as an economy measure, but closed permanently in 1931. The new road occupies the original location of the railway tracks, which were shifted to the north-west to create space.
