Edinburgh's new claim is to be the world roadworks capital. This lot is in Shandwick Place, and is destined to be part of the ruinously expensive tram system which also made the city a world laughing stock. Last chance to enjoy the street view (well, sort of) before it is permanently destroyed by overhead wires powering the trams.
