St Mary Street entrance to Royal Arcade, Cardiff

The Royal Arcade is the oldest of Cardiff's shopping arcades, dating from 1858. It is unlikely that the surrounding building was painted pink at that time! This entrance, from St Mary Street, is near the Wood Street junction. The other end of the arcade connects with The Hayes.
