This 1920s extension to the department store http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2826572 is on the corner of St Mary Street and Wharton Street. It was built as part of the James Howell & Co department store. The store was bought by the House of Fraser group in 1972 and rebranded as House of Fraser in 2010.
