This was once the workshop of a furniture maker that was destroyed by fire in August 1999 http://www.lyminge.org.uk/backissues/aug99.html Planning permission has been approved, with conditions, by Folkestone and Hythe District Council under application number Y07/0205/SH for a “change of use and conversion of workshop to form three dwellings and one commercial unit together with the installation of dormers on front and rear slopes, the formation of walled gardens and associated car parking area”. The house beyond is semi-detached, with the nearer side named Ridgewood and the further, Organ Makers Cottage.
