After exiting the railway bridge, the brook turns sharp left before turning right again to come up against the flood management system between it and the River Dee. The now defunct Co-operative store, previously Morrisons and before that Leos Superstore (i.e. the Co-op), was built on the site of the 'Bone Manure Works' O.S. 1882. Not perhaps the most appealing location for a food supermarket.
