The old Reigate-Leatherhead road, looking NW towards Leatherhead. On the right, the Nower Wood nature reserve, on the left, Cherkley Wood. Much of the land around here is occupied by Tyrrell's Wood golf course. The trees lining the road are beeches - as is so often the case on these chalk downs.
