Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Grimsby Road. The original church dated from 1930 and was built to provide for the increasing Catholic population. Owing to the poor foundations it had to be demolished and was replaced in 1995 by the present building. It is now more spacious with a larger seating capacity, arranged in a semi-circular fashion around a central altar, with a small side altar for the Blessed Sacrament.
