I suspect the nice new superhospital next door has got better accommodation now. I worked as a junior in nephrology in about 1985 and the dialysis unit was in a portakabin type structure then (possibly just single storey). The buildings in the left background are the research laboratories. The green structure on the roof top is a large plant room that was installed during a major infrastructure upgrade in the 1980s that included treating the buildings 'concrete cancer'. Update - I was in the area in June 2012 and can confirm this 'temporary' dialysis unit is at last no more.
