The Avenue, Newton Abbot

These villa terraces with their curious crazy paving limestone, and ornate brick, were built in 1888 as part of the Courtenays' development of the north and east areas of Newton. At the end, by the bridge over the Lemon, part of the industrial estate on Wharf Road.
