Looking south from Church Lane towards a large 18th century building on the Great North Road. Park Farm House is Grade II Listed and was formerly a coaching inn (possibly the former Bell Hotel) with an attached dining room by Joseph Pocklington. The main road through Carlton-on-Trent is quite peaceful as the through traffic passes by on the A1 to the west.
