It was a pity that such ordinary modern houses were built next to a building with such character Image I considered purchasing Little Shuttlesfield when it came on the market in 1999 with a price guide of £135,000. It was described as an completely unmodernised detached grade II listed country cottage and required about £60,000 spent on the roof alone to make it watertight. Its grounds and garden total approximately 2/3rds of an acre. It appeared on the market again quite recently but I have no idea if a sale took place, given the state of the housing market.
