'Lord' Tim Hudson who purchased the Lordship of the Manor of Birtles in the 1980s created here for a brief time 'a field of dreams' to live out his cricketing fantasies aided and abetted by real cricketing stars Ian Botham, Viv Richards and others. The pavilion may just be visible to you left of centre on the perimeter.
