At the time of this photograph the Ealing Broadway – Greenford service was operated by a single class 121 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_121 nicknamed a “Bubble” Image There are already several photographs of Greenford station http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=28662484 of which this Image probably is best to illustrate “then and now”. The train is the 11.39 to Ealing Broadway.
