This carved wooden swan is beside the road into Blacon, just past the canal bridge. You can just make out Blacon carved on the post below it. The building beyond, according to the notice by the gate, is Cheshire Police's "Custodial Suite" Sounds better than telling your Mum you're in the Nick, I suppose.
