Pair of Grade II listed semi-detached houses built in 1893 by Sir Ernest George and Alfred Yeates for Alexander Henderson of Buscot Park in the Cotswold vernacular style. They have a gabled stone-tiled roof and leaded windows, and porches at the east and west ends under deeply projecting eaves. The cottages form a group with two other similar buildings known collectively as Roadside Cottages.http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-251555-6-and-7-eaton-hastings http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-251556-8-11-eaton-hastings http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-251557-12-14-eaton-hastings The redbrick house behind was probably the former village Post Office: it has a post box set in the wall, a shop-style bay window, and a fixed wall sign saying "Telephone".
