Butt Lane Hollow was a footpath that led from Bere Regis to Muddox Barrow Farm but then the by pass visible in the foreground got built and cut it in half. It still leads up to the farm but walks must negotiate the busy A35. This bridle path is part of the Jubilee trail and leads past the farm up onto Bere Down.
