A type K6 telephone kiosk in Church Lane next to the telephone exchange. *The 'K6'version is often known as the 'Jubilee kiosk' as it was introduced c1935 for George V's jubilee. The K5 was an experimental model developed in c1934 but never produced in quantity. None of the originals survive. * Thanks to Ian Jolly for the above information.
