Ancient timbering is exposed on the ground floor, with the former doorway to the left. It ceased to be the rectory in 1840 and was subsequently called Post Office Cottage. It is Grade II listed - http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-52042-the-old-rectory-6-pampisford
