This bridge carries the track to Oldfield Farm over the feeder end of The Lake, Buscot Park. http://www.buscot-park.com/ The bridge is a Grade II listed building. http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-251487-bridge-over-the-lake-approximately-50-me The track incorporates a public footpath, part of the D'Arcy Dalton Way, named after Colonel D'Arcy Dalton, one of the founding members of the Oxford Fieldpaths Society. http://www.ramblers.org.uk/info/paths/name/d/darcydalton.htm http://www.ofs.org.uk/home/dArcyDaltonWay.php I took this photograph on an extremely cold day when the lake was frozen: breadcrumbs dropped for wildfowl had landed on the ice and remained there. The house in the background is Heckford Lodge; it fronts on to the A417 Lechlade to Faringdon road.
