The coaster “Conformity”, at the London Steel Terminal, on the Thames at Millwall. This was previously Express Wharf and had been redeveloped, in 1976 and 1986, to discharge steel under cover. It had a relatively short life. The operator moved, downstream, to Northfleet, in the late 1990’s. The photograph also shows the tidal variation between high and low water which can be as much as five metres.
