The original station was obviously an island platform accessed by stairs from the bridge through the now infilled entrance marked by red bricks. The entrance structure is of the same style as those at Rothley and Quorn & Woodhouse stations. This is now a preserved line. The road over the bridge is, appropriately enough, Station Road.
