Back in 1949, holiday relief expresses were often made up of a scratch set of coaches: this one, probably a relief to the 'Pines Express' (Manchester - Bournemouth West) is headed by Ivatt 4MT 2-6-0 No. 43013 (built 4/48, initially with double chimney, withdrawn 1967).
