A pair of former estate cottages on Sandbanks Road; built from mid-C19 to early C20 by Lady Charlotte Guest and her daughter, Lady Wimborne. Scattered around the formerly extensive Canford Estate, 100-odd were built. Each is numbered sequentially; this pair is numbered 66 and 67, which does not relate in any way to their postal address. A headache for postmen new to a round, perhaps.
