The bus leaving Hyde bus station is a #342 known as the Backbower circular. It is being operated by Stotts of Oldham after the previous operator Speedwells suddenly ceased trading the day before. On the left is the Astoria bingo hall Image which closed down in 2010. On the right is the Job Centre and in the background is the Bike-n-Hound public house.
