View eastward, in the yard by the coaling plant. With an ex-Midland 3F 0-6-0 behind, resting on a Sunday is LMS Stanier 8F No. 8405, which was built in 1943 and was one of 96 built at Swindon Works and employed on the GWR/WR for 3 - 4 years before being acquired by the LMSR; this one was transferred in 12/46 and lasted until 7/66.
