Probably Bracknell's most distinctive and innovative building. It should be in the town centre, not hidden away in the suburbs. By Arup Associates, 1960-63. Hexagonal, of reinforced concrete (pre-cast and in-situ) with an external frame detached from the rest of the tower. Grade II listed. It comprises 102 flats, built for single people or couples without children, so disposed that each has a dual aspect.
