Viewed from over the gate from the village. The school serves the communities of Achmore, Balmacara and Dornie. There are presently 3 classes in the school, with 68 pupils in P1-7 with a further 17 pupils in the Nursery. The school has 3 teaching staff, with a number of visiting teachers, who visit the school during the week to provided specialist input. The wheelie bin on the right bears a label stating that it is for collecting milk bottle tops for recycling. Presumably, local residents are still able to obtain milk in bottles with recyclable foil tops...
