Neat little block, perhaps in the house style of a department store for which it was originally built. Certainly similar to many such buildings dating from the 1950s and 1960s. Above is an unusual (to me at least) cloud formation. Is it altocumulus? Fellow Geographer Derek Harper suggests Altocumulus floccus or Cirrus floccus.
